The fire detection system is an installation made up of a set of sensors (or detectors) connected to a fire detection “panel”. This panel receives “fire” or “trouble” alarms and “processes” them by locating them with an audible signal and a light signal.
This set is made up of technical elements which are subject to NF standards. The design of the installation is the subject of APSAD rule R7, a technical text often used as a reference.
